“Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom.”

Psychotherapy with Sangeetha

Headshot of Sangeetha Thomas, LPC, therapist in Texas

Welcome! You’ve made it this far in life by surviving every challenge in the best way you could—maybe it was a bit messy, regretful, or imperfect, but I’m so glad you’re here. Therapy is a compassionate space where we can engage in the steady work of moving beyond surviving and towards thriving. Let’s begin your personal journey of finding freedom from the painful, deep-rooted wounds of your past and gradually reconnect you with your inner potential for a more healthy, hopeful, and meaningful life.

My therapeutic approach integrates my passions for relational healing, neuroscience, and theology. I enjoy working with clients of diverse cultural backgrounds and faith identities and I offer a unique alignment with those who seek an Indian American and/or Orthodox Christian therapist.

I would be honored to work with you and I look forward to hearing from you soon!

About Nepsis

Nepsis is a Greek term that most closely translates to “watchfulness” or “vigilance.”

It is the practice of attentiveness to one’s own mind, body, and consciousness.

This concept of ongoing self-awareness is critical in my therapeutic work. After all, we can’t begin to heal or grow without first allowing ourselves to look deeply within our own souls.
